Job Description

We are currently seeking full-time professionals for an Attestation Staff or Attestation Senior position. Candidates with 0–5 years of public accounting experience are encouraged to apply, and the role level will be determined based on experience. New graduates and CPA candidates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities Include:

· Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements for clients across a variety of industries

· Prepare workpapers, financial statements, and supporting schedules in accordance with firm standards

· Perform audit procedures, including testing of account balances, transactions, internal controls, and analytical procedures

· Assist with planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up of attestation engagements

· Research accounting and auditing issues as needed

· Communicate with clients to request information, resolve questions, and provide status updates

· Assist with preparation of adjusting journal entries and financial statement disclosures

· For senior-level candidates, supervise and review work of staff, manage engagement workflow, and communicate engagement issues to managers and partners

Basic Qualifications:

· 0–5 years of public accounting experience, preferably in audit, review, or compilation engagements

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

· CPA preferred or CPA candidate required

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement preparation

· Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple deadlines

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure

· Ability to adapt and learn new tasks quickly

· Ability to build and maintain positive client and team relationships

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

· Strong background in MS Excel

· Experience with ProSystem Fx Engagement, CCH Axcess, QuickBooks, and other accounting or audit software is beneficial, but not required

= Experience with AI relating to accounting research a plus

Employee must be based in Southern California

Minimum travel to client sites less than 20%
